HBO Confirms Euphoria Aired 2 Special Episodes

JAKARTA - HBO announced two special episodes of Euphoria on October 19. Previously, the second season of the series was confirmed to be coming from next year.

These two episodes were recorded amidst the pandemic so the production team carried out production under the COVID-19 health protocol.

Titled Trouble Don't Last Always , this episode features the character Rue (Zendaya) celebrating Christmas after Jules (Hunter Schafer) left at the train station.

These two episodes were written and directed by Sam Levinson, the man who worked on the original series.

The announcement was also broadcast by Zendaya, the main character of Euphoria, via Twitter. “We really miss them. Two special episodes of Euphoria will air. "

Euphoria tells of Rue Bennett (Zendaya) who struggles with his drug addiction. He also faces conflicts in the midst of family, friendships, and love.

Zendaya's victory at the 2020 Emmy Awards made enthusiasm for the second season of Euphoria even bigger.

Euphoria won four categories in the 2020 Emmy Awards namely Best Actress, Contemporary Make-up, Original Music and Lyrics.

Two episodes of the Euphoria special will premiere on HBO and continue with streaming service HBO Max on December 6.
