Busy With Wicked, Ariana Grande No New Album Plans

JAKARTA - Ariana Grande admits that she has not prepared a new album yet. This is revealed in a recent video that she shared for her cosmetics business, REM Beauty.

Not a few fans are asking if Ariana Grande is busy with a new album. He replied that he had not started recording or anything related to his music at this time.

"I want to have transparency and honesty with my fans. To be honest, I haven't started (production) on a new album yet," said Ariana Grande on Thursday, May 12.

“I heard that many of you have made theories or expectations about it. But after the Positions album, I wasn't ready for another album so I haven't started yet."

Furthermore, Ariana Grande explained that this was related to the production of the latest film that she starred in. After the release of Positions in 2020, she learned that there was an audition for the film adaptation of Wicked in which she played Glinda.

“I was getting ready for the role as well as filming The Voice. So every day I shoot and prepare for an audition call. I don't know when but I'm ready to (Wicked)," said Ariana Grande.

Dalton Gomez's wife was eager to join the production of Wicked. He also got the role so that he was ready to show his acting skills in the film.

“I am very ready and this is the best gift of my life. You know this is a role I've wanted since I was 10 years old," said Ariana Grande.

“I spend all my time with Glinda. I'm not ready yet," concluded Ariana Grande.

Ariana Grande will be joining as Glinda in John M. Chu's musical Wicked. He collided with Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.
