5 Eid Special Films To Get To Know More About Islam

JAKARTA - Celebrating the joy of the victory day of Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H, various religious films can be watched with family. Through films, you can get to know Islam more deeply.

The presence of the parade of selected films is expected to increase the variety of viewers' viewing while accompanying the evening with family at home or at home. In addition, the existence of a special Eid film on tvOne also hopefully can increase public knowledge about Islam.

There will be 5 films that will be screened by tvOne every day starting from May 02 – May 08, 2022. Here is the list of films:

1. Mom Wants To Go For Hajj

The film Mother Wants to Go on the Hajj will be aired on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 20.00 WIB. This film tells the story of the character Emak, an elderly woman who is patient, sincere, and full of determination, like other Muslims, eager to perform the pilgrimage.

Unfortunately, Mother felt unable to fulfill her desire because the cost of the pilgrimage was very expensive for her. Mother's daily life only depends on the results of the goods sold by cakes. The film was directed by Aditya Gumay and received six nominations at the 2009 Indonesian Film Festival.

2. Woman wearing a turban

The second film is Women with Turbans. The story of the sacrifices and struggles of Annisa (Revalina S Temat), as a child as well as mother and wife, in the kyai's family environment at the Islamic boarding school. Since childhood, Annisa has been treated unfairly, her protests are always considered a child's whining. Only Khudori (Oka Antara), her uncle, who always accompanies, entertains and presents another 'world' for Annisa.

A world that equalizes women, and not only defends men. Annisa secretly put her heart to Khudori. But the love was not reciprocated because Khudori realized that she still had a close relationship with Annisa's mother, Nyai Muthmainnah (Widyawati) the wife of Kyai Hanan (Joshua Pandelaki), Annisa's father, the owner of the Al Huda Islamic boarding school. 3. One Day in The Haram

An 84 minute religious documentary entitled One Day in The Haram shows how workers are on duty and are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, security and service for the guests of Allah SWT, namely the Umrah and Hajj pilgrims. In addition, viewers can also see how the management of the Arab government to provide services as well as the rhythm of workers in this documentary film in a full day.

From Fajr to Isha. The documentary One Day in the Jannah will be broadcast in two parts, namely on Wednesday, May 04, 2022 and Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 21.00 WIB.

4. One Night in Al Aqsa

One Night in Al Aqsa is a film from award-winning director One Day in The Haram and Oscar-nominated executive producer The Look of Silence. Discover the amazing story of the Al Aqsa Complex in Jerusalem, set against the backdrop of the holiest night in the Islamic calendar. Al Aqsa is the place where the miracle happened when the Prophet ascended to the sky to receive the command to pray.

Through this film, viewers are invited to feel the power of Al Aqsa, as it is told through the eyes of the people who live and work there. The One Night in Al Aqsa film can be watched on Friday, 06 May 2022 and Saturday, 07 May 2022 at 21.00 WIB.

5. Malin Kundang

Malin Kundang film will air on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 20.00 WIB. Once upon a time in Padang, West Sumatra, precisely in the village of Pantai Air Manis, there lived a widow named Mande Rubayah and her only son named Malin Kundang.

Their lives are deprived, so Malin Kundang is forced to work in another city to meet his daily needs with his mother. With a heavy heart, Malin Kundang's mother agreed with her son's intentions. Years turn to years, months to months, and days to days. Malin Kundang never came, has he forgotten his mother?
