Netflix Releases First Teaser For Alice In Borderland Live-Action Series

JAKARTA - Netflix streaming service released the first teaser for the live action series Alice in Borderland today, October 9.

Alice in Borderland tells the story of a student named Ryohei Arisu (same as Alice in Japanese) who feels annoyed with his life. One night, he follows two of his friends Karube and Chota to relax in the middle of the city.

Suddenly, the city was covered in huge fireworks and Ryohei realized there was no one beside him but his two friends. Ryohei was 'thrown' into another world and had to take part in a survival game in order to return to their world.

The series was first released in Shonen Sunday magazine in 2010. The manga version ended in 2016 and publisher Shogakukan published the manga in 18 books.

For the live action , Alice in Borderland will be played by Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, and Yuzuha Usagi.

This short teaser shows the three of them arriving in another world for the first time. The scene continues with the appearance of the game where the three main characters will face to get out of this world.

Shinsuke Sato is the director who worked on the Alice in Borderland series. His expertise in making manga into live action can be seen through Bleach . Meanwhile, Yoshiki Watabe and Yasuko Kuramitsu wrote the script with Shinsuke.
