Desiree Tarigan Reveals Reason For Disclosing Divorce With Hotma Sitompul: Women Don't Want To Be Bullied By Men

JAKARTA - Desiree Tarigan openly revealed her domestic turmoil to the public. Impressed calmly, Desiree made a commotion by claiming to be expelled by Hotma Sitompul. The drama continued with the installation of a wall on his mother's land.

Desiree at that time became the center of media coverage and did not want to make peace when accompanied by Hotman Paris' lawyer. 20 years of marriage, not a penny received Desiree. He demanded his rights be returned.

Finally, a peace agreement was reached. Desiree and Hotma agreed to divorce with mediation from lawyer Otto Hasibuhan. After the problem subsided, Desiree revealed her reason for speaking up on Venna Melinda's YouTube channel.

"Why am I speaking up? Because I want to speak for Indonesian women, we must have a stand point. Don't want to be oppressed by men, they don't want to throw us away without women's rights there," explained Desiree quoted Monday, 25 April.

Despite the divorce, Desiree said she had no regrets. "There are no regrets, because I think I have given my best. So if the best of me is considered not good, then I give up. Because I don't know what to do," said Desiree Tarigan.

In fact, Desiree admitted that she was sincere with the fate that happened. "Everything has been written by God, whatever it is, I'm just grateful, I have to go through the journey of life, just be sincere," said Desiree Tarigan.
