This film will be a sequel to Avatar, since its premiere in 2009. It is reported that Variety, Avatar 2 has completed its shooting process in 2019, it's just that this filming will only be released in 2021.

Meanwhile, the director of this film, James Cameron said, this film will take the audience to explore the underwater world. "You will be exploring a new part of the world," said James Cameron.

At the CES Conference, Cameron also confirmed to develop the film Avatar in another quadrology. It is planned that the other Avatar films will be released in 2023, 2025, and 2027, respectively.
