When Anthony Became Sharma's Brothers In The Trailer Of Bridgerton 2

JAKARTA - The full trailer for Bridgerton 2 was released on Wednesday, March 9, the night fans have been waiting for. This three-minute video sheds light on the main story and conflicts facing the Bridgerton family.

The trailer begins with Viscountess Bridgerton announcing the search for a partner for the Bridgerton family's eldest child, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey). This news made the residents of Regency London vying to nominate their daughter.

Among them, the Sharma family has two daughters: Kate (Simone Ashley) and Edwina (Charithra). Anthony is also interested in Edwina and the approach begins.

However, before getting Edwina, Anthony was challenged to conquer Kate, his brother. On the other hand, Anthony begins to have feelings for Kate which causes a love triangle conflict to begin.

Viewers can also see Penelope Fetherington (Nicola Coughlan) who is the figure behind Lady Whistledown. Additionally, Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor), the main character from Bridgerton's first season, is seen holding a baby.

Meanwhile, Rege Jean Page who plays Simon Bassett is not seen in this trailer. It is known that Jean Page decided to withdraw from production of Bridgerton after the first season.

Bridgerton 2 is adapted from the novel by Julia Quinn entitled The Viscount Who Loved Me.

The first season of Bridgerton was a success as the series became the most watched title on Netflix in 2020. Produced by Shondaland, the Bridgerton 2 series will be released starting March 25, 2022 on Netflix.
