Don't Regret Marrying Hotma Sitompul, Desiree Tarigan: It's Over, Sincerely True

JAKARTA - Desiree Tarigan and Hotma Sitompul have agreed to divorce. 22 years of marriage, Desiree Tarigan admits that he has no regrets because his marriage ended. Had a broken heart, crying because he was expelled, now Desiree admits that he is sincere.

"There are no regrets, because I think I gave my best. So if the best from me is considered not good enough, then I give up. Because I don't know what to do," explained Desiree on Venna Melinda's YouTube channel quoted Friday, March 4.

Bams' mother admitted that she tried her best to maintain her household. "Twenty-two years is not a short time. Praise God for all my support, I can survive. I'm happy the way it is," he said.

Desiree admits that she is sincere and can release all the burdens that are on her. "Yes, it's gone, it's sincere. Yes, sometimes we feel 'how can that be? (as if nothing happened). But, that doesn't mean it's something to be regretted. In the future we can learn from each other, "continued Desiree.

Having gone viral demanding the land rights of Thousands, Desiree hopes that her struggle can be a lesson for many people, especially Indonesian women.

"Why am I speaking up? Because I want to speak for Indonesian women, we must have a stand point. Don't want to be oppressed by men, they don't want to throw us away without women's rights there," explained Desiree.

Not wanting to drag on in grief, now Desiree is a successful entrepreneur. Even Desiree also participated in the film with Raffi Ahmas' father-in-law, Rieta Amalia. That's why he said he was grateful.

"Everything has been written by God, whatever it is, I'm just grateful, I have to go through the journey of life, just be sincere. So if you ask why it's like that (divorce) I also don't know because I never thought of it like that," concluded Desiree Tarigan .
