JAKARTA - K-pop group NU'EST will disband this March. PLEDIS Entertainment as their agency stated that the five members had group contracts ending on March 14.
“JR, Aron, and Ren decided to start fresh after leaving our company. Baekho and Minhyun will renew their contracts. We respect each member's decision after careful and considerate discussion," said PLEDIS, launching Soompi on Tuesday, March 1.
PLEDIS is grateful that NU'EST is the first boy group of them to be loved so much since debut. The agency also announced a new and final album will be released in the same month.
“Once again, we thank LOΛ.E who have always been by NU'EST's side. We ask for the support and love of the members as they begin a new chapter in their careers," said PLEDIS Entertainment.
The five NU'EST members wrote separate letters to their fans. 10 years of career, they have had ups and downs throughout being a K-pop group.
The day after, PLEDIS launched NU'EST's final album teaser titled Needle & Bubble. The album will be released on March 15 digitally and streaming. So far, it is not known what concept NU'EST will do.

NU'EST is a K-pop group that debuted on March 15, 2012 with the song Face. Two years later, they released a studio album titled Re:Birth.
