JAKARTA - Film director Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca, Hanung Bramantyo said that the action film will not bleed in the fighting that took place. Hanung imitated the Marvel hero film that did not produce blood so that it could be watched by children.

"If we look at Marvel films, the battles are excited but there is no blood. That's why children can watch it. That's why the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca will also not show blood," said Hanung when met at SCBD, South Jakarta, Tuesday, February 22 .

According to Hanung, superhero films no longer need to be divided into Hollyeood or Indonesian films. "We are working on this film with international standards," he said.

The film Satria Dewa Gatotkaca is scheduled to be released in theaters in June 2022. The film, which is based on the puppet story, takes a modern setting. According to the director Hanung Bramantyo, the film also introduces Indonesian superheroes, including Indonesia's very rich culture.

"We take the puppet because of the value. That Gatotkaca is a knight who is always alone. If there is a problem he will quietly solve it. The symbol of the star shows how light illuminates," he said.

Hanung presents a modern visual arrangement using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) and Visual Effects which are done seriously and intensely. More than 500 points in the film must be done through the CGI process which takes a long time. According to Hanung Bramantyo, the postponement of the broadcast schedule provides a good opportunity to maximize the editing process.

"We have been given the opportunity to edit longer. So we take the positive. Because this film requires CGI accuracy. Not to mention the exciting battle parts that must be made in detail so that the audience can enjoy the thrill of the story from the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca," said Hanung.
