JAKARTA - The Bridgerton romance series will continue into its second season this year. Monday, February 14th, Netflix released its first teaser which takes on a new story but is still being produced by Shonda Rhimes.

London in the Regency era still glorifies Lady Whistledown as a royal herald. This time, Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) is looking for true love as the eldest child.

Bridgerton 2 tells of Anthony who meets Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and his sister Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran). Anthony was about to approach Edwina but Kate knew it wasn't out of love.

Kate tries to prevent Anthony and Edwina but feelings begin to grow along with the closeness of the two of them. On the other hand, the figure of Lady Whistledown is revealed to be Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughan) who is the figure behind the spread of royal conflict.

Bridgerton 2's story is still inspired by the novel by Julia Quinn which is full of scandal and romance. The series also features Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Polly Walker (Portia Featherington), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton) and Julie Andrews as voice actors.
