DAY6 Drummer Dowoon Is Burdened With Even Of Day Leader Status

JAKARTA - Dowoon, the youngest member or maknae of the band DAY6, admits that he does not know why he was appointed as the new unit leader for his group Even of Day.

"I feel just because of the name. I don't know why I became the leader (of the Even of Day group)," said Dowoon while appearing on SBS Power FM's Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time.

He continued, being a leader is very different from being the youngest. When they ask the leader to introduce a song on a music show, he has to memorize what he will say because he didn't write the song.

Two Even of Day personnel were then asked how Dowoon became the unit leader. Young K said the maknae did look like that and received laughter from everyone who was there.

Apart from discussing Dowoon as the unit leader, Even of Day also talked about the most memorable moments since DAY6's debut.

"I was happiest when group DAY6 was announced," said Wonpil.

Meanwhile Young K said, "The memories of performing at our concert are still clear to me" and Dowoon's similar opinion said, "I am happy every time the five of us become one while on stage making eye contact, jumping around, and having fun".

Host Choi Hwa-jung then asked if DAY6 and Even of Day were planning to hold an online concert like other musicians are currently doing.

"We've talked about it, but nothing has been confirmed," said Wonpil.
