JAKARTA - The latest work by one of the proud directors of the country, Kamila Andini, Before, Now & Then, on January 19, 2022, announced that it has successfully entered the main competition of the Berlin International Film Festival and will have its premiere there.

This Sundanese language film is based on the life story of Raden Nana Sunani (Happy Salma). Nana runs away from her hometown when a mob comes to want to marry her. She then settled in Bandung and married a man who came from a menak family.

Nana meets her husband's mistress, but the two also support each other as fellow women living in the 1960s.

Before heading to Berlin, Germany, the film, which was produced by Ifa Isfansyah and Gita Fara, and starring Laura Basuki, Arswendy Bening Swara, and Ibnu Jamil, introduced the first trailer for Berlinale 2022 via the Screen International Youtube account on Monday 7 February 2022.
