Responding To Doddy Sudrajat, Arist Merdeka Sirait Reveals The Chronology Of Vanessa Angel's Father's Story

JAKARTA - The head of the National Commission for Child Protection, Arist Merdeka Sirait, gave an explanation regarding the arrival of Doddy Sudrajat, the father of the late Vanessa Angel, to KPA.

"I really want to explain that Brother Doddy came to contact me via WhatsApp to consult regarding his complaints in the Gala case," said Arist Merdeka Sirait as quoted from Paragram on Thursday, January 27.

Doddy said that he had not been able to see his grandson for a month and showed several videos allegedly exploiting Ardiansyah's Gala Sky.

“There were complaints, among others, he had complained for a month when he met me, not being able to meet his grandson, Gala. Then there are the videos that were submitted to me as documents to be consulted whether it was an exploitation practice or not,” he explained.

Doddy also mentioned that Bibi's father, H. Faisal, was suspected of exploiting Gala, but Arist admitted that he had not taken any action after hearing this. He reasoned that Komnas PA had to visit H. Faisal's house.

"I was accompanied by the Board of Commissioners to see what actually happened and compared it according to the complaint and I saw that Gala as the grandson of Doddy and Faisal was fine," said Arist.

Seeing Gala growing up as a smart person, Komnas PA tried to help the mediation initiated by H. Faisal. Unfortunately, Doddy was reluctant to welcome the plan.

“The meeting held by H. Faisal was for mediation but it was rejected by Doddy's brother. Our good faith was rejected by Brother Doddy, we don't know what the motivation is," concluded Arist.

Not only that, Arist also answered the statement of Doddy's legal advisor who asked the Chair of Komnas PA to be replaced by a woman.

"Oh, this is really ridiculous and scary, and painful. Because Doddy's advisors don't understand who Arist Merdeka Sirait is. Failed to understand judging me. I am a friend of Indonesian children who pays attention to Indonesian children," said Arist.

"You have no right to say I should be replaced from Komnas PA because there are mechanisms that can be done other than getting sick, dying or exploiting the institution. Not Doddy's lawyer, Damar's brother," he concluded.

Previously, Doddy Sudrajat was seen visiting H. Faisal's house impromptu to make peace and invite Gala to go play but at that time Gala was still sleeping so the plan was canceled.
