Evan Rachel Wood Reveals Marilyn Manson's Sexual Harassment In Phoenix Rising

JAKARTA - Actress Evan Rachel Wood has again revealed sexual harassment by her ex-husband, musician Marilyn Manson. Sunday, January 23, Wood released a documentary titled Phoenix Rising which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

This film tells the journey of Evan Rachel Wood's career and personal life. Last year, the actress sued Manson over claims that the rocker had sexually abused and groomed her since she was a teenager. This claim was denied by Marilyn Manson.

This time, Evan Rachel Wood spoke again about the abuse she received while filming Marilyn Manson's music video for Heart-Shaped Glasses in 2007.

"It wasn't what I imagined. We did a scene he hadn't told me about," said Evan Rachel Wood. The scene in question is having sex as part of the video.

“We had discussions to make it look like a simulation but when the camera was turned on, he did it live. I never agreed with that. I'm a professional actress, I've been doing this my whole life."

Wood explained that he could not refuse because he was asked not to answer. He also saw the crew felt uncomfortable while watching the scene.

Not only Evan Rachel Wood, last year, several people also sued Marilyn Manson on similar charges, namely actress Esme Bianco and former assistant Ashley Walters.

Marilyn Manson was removed from her record label, Loma Vista and several of her appearances were also removed from television.
