JAKARTA - The conflict between the father of the late Vanessa Angel, Doddy Sudrajat and the Head of the National Commission for Child Protection (KPA), Arist Merdeka Sirait, is now a public discussion. Previously, the father of the late Vanessa Angel, Doddy Sudrajat, was scheduled to attend the National Commission for Child Protection on Saturday, January 15 but did not come.

The agenda is to find a mediation formulation between Doddy and Faisal regarding the care of Gala Sky Ardiansyah. However, Doddy was not present. The chairman of the National Commission (Komnas) for Child Protection, Arist Merdeka Sirait, said he was disappointed with the absence of Doddy Sudrajat. Arist called Doddy arrogant because he was not willing to accept the goodwill of the National Commission for Child Protection.

"Sorry, he (Doddy) refused. He said there was no problem. I think this is arrogance from Mr. Doddy. Even though we have good intentions. And we don't side with anyone," said Arist when met in the Pasar Rebo area, East Jakarta , Saturday, January 15th.

Sunday, January 16, Doddy came to Gala's house to pick him up and was invited to Ancol and the mall. However, Faisal forbade it. Netizens were excited because they judged that Doddy did not know the etiquette of visiting.

Most recently, Doddy's lawyer, Djamalludin, requested that Arist Merdeka be removed immediately. According to Djamalludin, the person who deserves to be the Chair of the KPA is a woman or a man with a woman's heart. If the chairman of Komnas PA is replaced, according to him, it can help the problems faced by his clients.

"Those who say I need to be replaced as head of child protection because I stand for what is best for children in particular, misjudged," he said, quoted from the Instagram gossip account @rumpi_gossip.

"That's why I only remind you that looks don't mean that with a look like this, it's as if you are not close to the child," he added.

Furthermore, Arist said he has 30 years of experience taking care of children. He emphasized that so far no one had called him rude until he was asked to resign as chairman of Komnas PA.

"I have been taking care of children in Indonesia for 30 years, no one said I was rude, what I did was in the best interests of the child," he said.

Arist asked Doddy Sudrajat not to do strange things and make arbitrary statements. This is done for the sake of the Gala Sky Andriansyah.

"And if you think that I should be replaced with a female figure as the Head of the National Commission for Child Protection, or a male with a female spirit, then that's a misjudgment. Stop giving ridiculous conclusions," he said.

Arist claims he defends Gala Sky so that he grows up to be a good child. He is also ready to be a witness in the trial of child guardianship rights.

"I just want to defend Gala so that she can grow and develop well. For the time being, of course, there has been no legal decision, maybe Brother Doddy and Mr. Faisal have submitted it," he said.

"I am ready to be a key witness to state that for now let Gala grow and develop where he likes, he enjoys," he added.
