Angga Dwimas Sasongko Uses Real Pistol For Ben And Jody's Movie

JAKARTA - Ben and Jody's film, which is part of the Filosofi Kopi universe, has developed into an action film. For filming, Director Angga Dwimas Sasongko explained that they used real weapons.

The use of this original weapon is expected to give a weapon effect that looks more real. "If we shoot, we use practical effects. So, no one uses a toy gun. So, using a real blank bullet so that the sparks are caught, I want to be caught on camera," explained Angga, quoted from ANTARA, Wednesday, January 19.

"Because this is an actual realistic action. I mean the set is realistic, so I want to make everything look real and practical," he continued.

Furthermore, Angga explained that the players did not have much time to practice using real weapons. However, Angga also provided a team of officers who trained the players on the set of "Ben & Jody" to use these weapons.

"Unfortunately we don't have much time for actual training. So they practice at the location, we happen to have an armory team that comes from the apparatus who really understands weapons. Yes, they are taught to shoot," said Angga.

"Actually, using real weapons is not a strange thing. Many do that. There is also a treatment. The point is that I want to have a film that, if it's practical, why does it have to be CGI?
