Firmly, Arist Merdeka Sirait Says There's No Need For A DNA Test For Vanessa Angel's Son: That's Violence To Children

JAKARTA - Doddy Sudrajat's attempt to conduct a DNA test seems to have reached a dead end. Even though he argued for the sake of the court, this wish was rejected by Vanessa Angel's father-in-law, H Faisal.

Even while visiting the National Commission for Child Protection, Arist Merdeka Sirait as the General Chair suggested that Doddy not do it.

"This Gala is an orphan who needs attention. So if you want a DNA test just to find out who the parents of Gala are, I don't think it should be discussed," he said on December 24.

After visiting the Gala at Vanessa and Aunt Andriansyah's house, Arist reiterated this. "DNA testing is not necessary, sorry for that. It's not necessary. It's a form of violence, because Gala didn't want to be born. Gala's birth was the wish of the deceased, no DNA needed. It hurt Gala," said Arist in South Jakarta, Friday, January 6.

"This Gala is the main thing. Other things related to polemics should be stopped. It's a pity this is a toddler, you know," he continued.

Arist is willing to be a mediator to mediate between Faisal and Doddy Sudrajat. "The issue of guardianship is different from custody. Trusteeship can be imposed on Mr. Faisal but does not give a limit of one day here and there. It just needs to sit together and not make a statement on its own. Mr. Faisal is very open," he said.

Responding to Arist Merdeka Sirait's statement, H Faisal welcomed the call for mediation. "I was very ready to mediate from the start. I am ready, thanks to Mr. Arist who is willing to attend. The most important thing is the best for the Gala," said Vanessa Angel's mother-in-law.
