Doddy Sudrajat Explains The Reason For Laughing Next To Venessa Angel's Body

JAKARTA - Vanessa Angel's father is being targeted by Indonesian netizens. Furious because it was suspected that they wanted to fight over the inheritance, netizens captured the moment when Doddy laughed beside Vanessa Angel's corpse.

The video footage then went viral and was compared to Aunt Ardiansyah's family who kept crying. Apparently, the incident was true. Doddy admitted that he laughed beside Vanessa Angel's coffin.

Doddy and Vanessa's stepmother laughed because they were entertained by a cousin who shared a memorable story with Vanessa. "Indeed it happened that I laughed. Because my cousin entertained me," said Doddy as quoted from a video circulating on YouTube.

"My cousin told me that when I was about to have a birthday, he called Echa (Vanessa Angel). 'What's the surprise? Just stick the cake to your face or head,'" recalled Doddy.

The man then told Vanessa's response when she heard about Doddy's cousin's plan. "If the candle is still on, then his hair will be burned. Then he laughs," explained Doddy.

Doddy said his laughter was not to laugh at inappropriate things. "So I laughed, it didn't mean I was laughing at something inappropriate. (Cousin) his intention was to cheer me up so I wouldn't be sad," he added.

Doddy also denied that he was not mourning the death of Vanessa Angel and his son-in-law. "I have no appetite, I'm in shock, I'm really sad," admitted Doddy.
