Artritis, or known as joint inflammation, is one of the health problems that is quite common in Indonesia. Although many think that fire only attacks the elderly, in fact, this disease is now also often found in the productive age group due to unhealthy lifestyles, obesity, joint injury, and lack of physical activity.

In this seminar, Holywings Peduli presented expert resource persons, dr. Victoria Elizabeth, MARS who is the Head Medical Check Up of Siloam Hospital Sriwijaya Palembang. He explained the causes, symptoms, and how to prevent them.
"Artritis can attack anyone, not just the elderly. Low physical activity, sporting injuries, and the habit of sitting for too long can increase the risk of joint inflammation. Therefore, it is important for us to recognize early signs such as persistent joint pain, stiffness in the morning, or swelling that never disappears," explained Dr. Viktor Elizabeth.
This seminar also explores the importance of a healthy lifestyle in preventingnicity, such as maintaining ideal weight, routinely doing light exercise such as fast walking or swimming, as well as eating nutritious foods rich in calcium and vitamin D.
In addition to the material presentation session, 50 elderly participants who came were invited to take a free medical examination provided by the medical team from Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital, Palembang. For health checks, the series of checks are in the form of blood sugar measurements, cholesterol, blood pressure, to medical consultations. There are also interactive question and answer sessions guided by moderators to make it easier for participants to ask questions about joint issues.
Andrew Susanto, President Commissioner of Holywings Group and Chair of the Holywings Care CSR Program revealed that this seminar is part of a routine program held to educate the public about various health issues.
