Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono invites the public to take advantage of the Free Health Check (CKG) service at the Puskesmas because it will help the government in handling diseases suffered as early as possible.

"Let's take advantage of the Free Health Check. There must be awareness to maintain health so that we know if there is a disease so that it can be handled," said Deputy Health Minister Dante Saksono Harbuwono during the Joint Movement of the Tangerang City TB Alert Village at GOR Benda District, Wednesday.

The Deputy Minister of Health said that currently there are 8.2 million people who take advantage of this service and will increase when schools start to become active because they target students.

Later, from the results of the free health check, the Government will know the type of disease that needs priority for handling.

"This CKG provides an overview to the Government for the future handling needed. So we invite the public to use this service as best they can," he said.

Tangerang Mayor Sahrudin said as many as 39,779 people had taken advantage of free health checks (CKG) at puskesmas - puskesmas.

He appealed to the public to use free health check services to prevent non-communicable diseases (PTM) because at this time there is no need to wait for the momentum of the birthday.

Previously, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that 8.2 million people had taken advantage of the Free Health Check (CKG) program, and 8.7 million people had registered for the facility since its launch on February 10, 2025.
