JAKARTA - Technology in the field of health is increasingly developing every time, including for heart health examinations. Currently, heart health detection can be done just by eye examination.

The examination was carried out with Dr. Noon technology. This is an AI-based medical software that analyzes retinal images to assess the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Noon's technology is claimed to be able to predict cardiovascular risk without radiation, by detecting subtle structural and vascular changes in the retina through a simple non-invasive eye examination.

Retinal imaging allows non-invasive visualization of microvasculature, and its changes are closely related to the risk of cardiovascular disease so it is effective for early detection.

The tool works by taking a picture of the retina, then uploading the image and patient data. Then AI analysis and risk stratification are carried out, resulting in an instant report for medical personnel and patients related to cardiovascular health.

"Our goal is to prevent cardiovascular disease from occurring," he added.

Through the results of the examination, it will be known whether the patient is at risk of cardiovascular disease including low or high. If it is at high risk, then the patient is advised to undergo further examination.

"If you are known to be at high risk, you should see a doctor who can help you with what steps are necessary (to overcome it)," he explained.

In addition, examination through this device can also help patients to modify their lifestyle to maintain heart health in the long term.
