Not Finished, Chinese Investor Apartment in IKN Sold 100 Units

NUSANTARA - The apartment project built by a Chinese investor in IKN Nusantara, PT Star Bright International Investment, has sold 100 units even though the project is targeted to be completed by the end of the year.

Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) Basuki Hadimuljono said this was good news in the midst of the IKN Nusantara development process. The financing of private investors is one pillar of IKN financing, in addition to the State Budget, KPBU and grant funds.

"This private investment is exciting, one of which is PT Star Bright International Investment from China (building) the four towers, now people have booked the apartments, more than 100 (units) apartments. This is surprising," Basuki told reporters at the IKN, quoted on Saturday, August 15.

PT Star Bright International Investment is building a project at IKN affiliated with Zhongda Jiancheng Engineering Management Group. The project is an integrated area that includes apartments, restaurants, retail areas, and offices.

The value of the project reaches IDR 1.25 trillion, located in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) in Sub-Planning Area (WP) 1B. The project area stands on a land area of 15,501 square meters.

Citing information on the OIKN official website, PT Star Bright International Investment is a company engaged in investment, property development and project management on an international scale.

In carrying out its project at IKN, the company works with Zhongda Jiancheng Engineering Management Group Co., Ltd., a company from Sichuan, China, which has more than two decades of experience in managing construction projects.

The project built by the company in IKN, became the first construction realized by a foreign PMA company in IKN.

President Director of PT Star Bright International Investment Lu Keming said, he was optimistic about the future of Nusantara as a new city with great prospects.

"I have experience seeing the development of a city from the initial condition which is still empty. I believe that IKN will become a beautiful city because it was built from the beginning. The team from China is also interested in investing in the hospitality and tourism sectors," said Lu Keming.
