Joao several times asked that the questions be directed to the party who first provided the information.
"Tanya sama yang ngomong. Bukan saya yang ngomong," ujarnya.
When reporters asked for clarification so that the information was not misunderstood, Joao said that the news could actually be a free promotion for Agrinas and the cooperative program.
"This is my chance to get free promotion. You promote Agrinas first so that people know the cooperative," he said.
Joao did not confirm whether the procurement of fans was included in Agrinas' duties. He only said that fans were included in the facilities and infrastructure.
He also stated that he had never been invited to speak about the budget statement and did not know about the discussion.
"I don't know where he is talking. I also read the news. It has nothing to do with me, why do I care," said Joao.
Although he has not explained the procurement of fans, Joao ensured that Agrinas was given the task of building, procuring, and running the Kopdes Merah Putih for two years.
After the management period is completed, the cooperative will be handed over to the village.
