Minister PU Challenges Proof of Aisyah Zakiyyah, Hadiah Umroh Gratis

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo spoke up about the emergence of Aisyah Zakiyyah's name as a commissioner of PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PP).

The issue that is widely circulated, Aisyah is said to be Dodi's niece who is very active on social media.

This news floated without explanation and clarification, then became wild.

When attending the Akbar Faizal Uncensored podcast in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 15, Dody answered the issue by challenging the public.

"The only thing that can prove Aisyah is my nephew, I will give him a free umroh gift, if he is a Muslim," he said.

Still in the same meeting, Aisyah Zakiyyah also gave a similar answer when asked if there was a kinship relationship between herself and Minister Dody.

Both of them have filed a challenge for free umrah.

Even so, both Dody and Aisya did not directly provide clarification directly regarding their kinship.

Previously, it was widely reported that the appointment of commissioner Aisyah Zakiyyah as commissioner of PT PP (Persero) Tbk or PTPP was in the public spotlight.

Netizens not only associated his kinship with the Minister of PU, but also questioned his background of competence.

This rumor also heated up because Aisyah was considered too young.

He was appointed as a commissioner of PT PP through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) for the 2025 Book Year, on May 19, 2026.

He replaced the position of Ernadhi Sudarmanto who was dismissed with honor.

Aisyah's educational history is actually quite impressive. Born in Jakarta, December 30, 1993, this graduate of Applied Chemistry and Biochemistry at Gunma University, Japan in 2015.

Then he received a Master's degree in International Communication from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, in 2018. In fact, his professional career is no less prestigious, he used to be an E-Commerce and Marketing Manager at Lingble Ltd., Singapore, then became a Team Leader Sales Division at PT Toyota Tsusho System Indonesia in the period 2023-2024.

In the period 2024-2025, he served as Director and Strategic Planner at PT Lumintoo Sukses Incomso.

Since last year, Aisyah has served as a Minister Expert and Spokesperson (Jubir) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) before finally being entrusted to become a PTPP Commissioner.

His duties as a commissioner at PTPP are specific, namely overseeing the fields of human resource development, talent management, succession, remuneration system, and the company's organizational structure.
