Digital Transformation Getting Stronger, UBSI-Klaten Regency Government Prepare Competitive Human Resources

JAKARTA - Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) as a Creative Digital Campus has again shown its commitment in supporting the improvement of human resources (HR) quality through strategic collaboration with local governments.

This commitment was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Klaten Regency Government which was linked to a Creative Digital Seminar in the Klaten Regency DPRD Plenary Room, Central Java.

This cooperation is a concrete step by UBSI in expanding its contribution in the fields of education, information technology, and strengthening digital literacy in the midst of the accelerating digital transformation that continues to grow. Through this synergy, UBSI and the Klaten Regency Government also strive to present various programs that have a direct impact on the community, the world of education, business actors, to government apparatus.

The activity was attended directly by the Rector of UBSI, Mochamad Wahyudi.

On this occasion, Wahyudi emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and local governments in creating a generation that is adaptive to technological developments.

"As a Creative Digital Campus, UBSI has a responsibility to continue to bring educational innovations that are in line with industry needs and technological developments. This cooperation is a tangible form of our commitment to strengthening people's competencies so that they are ready to compete in the digital era," said Wahyudi.

Meanwhile, Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs of UBSI Diah Puspitasari said that this cooperation is an important momentum to strengthen collaboration between the education sector and local governments in creating superior human resources and being ready to face the development of time.

"We hope that this synergy can open up more opportunities in the development of education, digital training, and capacity building for the community to be able to adapt to the ever-evolving digital transformation," he said.

The signing of this MoU is expected to be the foundation for the development of various collaborative programs, such as digital training, improvement of human resources competence, joint research, to community service.

This step also strengthens UBSI's position as a university that is actively building an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem.

In addition to the signing ceremony, the event was also filled with a Creative Digital Seminar which invited academics and practitioners to discuss the creative and productive use of digital technology.

The seminar provides insights on technological developments, strategies for building digital creativity, and opportunities for the use of information technology in education, entrepreneurship, and public services.

"Through this cooperation, UBSI and the Klaten Regency Government are optimistic that they can create sustainable synergy in building a community that is more prepared to face future challenges, while strengthening the quality of education and digital literacy at the regional level," concluded Wahyudi.
