JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) together with the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) has facilitated 15 competency certification schemes for graduates of the National Internship program or MagangHub Kemnaker.
Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, said that competency certification plays an important role in improving labor competitiveness.
"Competency certification is an important instrument to ensure that MagangHub graduates have recognition of the competencies they have so that they are more prepared to compete in the labor market," said the Minister of Manpower Yassierli as quoted by Antara.
The National Internship program itself is designed to strengthen the quality of human resources (HR) while providing recognition of competence that is in accordance with the needs of the world of work and industry.
Yassierli added that the various schemes prepared were prepared based on the current industry needs, ranging from office administration, information technology, services, finance, HR, data management, to Occupational Safety and Health (K3).
A total of 15 certification schemes were prepared, namely Office Administration Management, Junior Secretary, Assistant Web Developer, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design Creation, Preparation of Single Entity Financial Statements, and Human Resources Supervisor.
Furthermore, other competency certification schemes are Customer Service, Front Office, Computer Operator, Digital Filing, Production of Audio Visual Works, Data Analyst, Occupational Safety and Health Officer (K3), and Preparation of Financial Reports for Beginners.
Through these various schemes, the Minister of Manpower said that National Internship graduates are expected to have competencies that are relevant to industry needs, ranging from administrative and service management, mastery of digital technology, financial and human resource management, to data analysis and implementation of occupational safety.
The implementation of certification will be carried out by BNSP through a network of professional certification institutions that work together with vocational training centers for the Ministry of Manpower in various regions.
To support this program, the Ministry of Manpower has mapped the readiness of vocational training centers throughout Indonesia.
Based on the mapping results, BBPVP Makassar, BBPVP Medan, and BPVP Surakarta each held 15 certification schemes. BBPVP Bekasi has 11 schemes.
BBPVP Bandung, BBPVP Semarang, BPVP Aceh, BPVP Padang, BPVP Samarinda, and BPVP Kendari each have 10 certification schemes. BPVP Banyuwangi and BPVP Ternate each have 9 schemes, while BPVP Bantaeng has 8 schemes.
As for BPVP Pangkajene and Islands and BPVP Belitung, there are 7 certification schemes each. BBPVP Serang has 6 schemes. BPVP East Lombok, BPVP Ambon, and BPVP Sorong each have 4 schemes. Meanwhile, BPVP West Bandung and BPVP Sidoarjo each have 3 certification schemes.
