Naik Whoosh More Economical, KCIC Gives Ticket Discounts up to 50 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) presents a special promo in the form of a 50 percent discount on Whoosh tickets through the Travel Fair program. This program provides an opportunity for people to enjoy the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train journey at a more affordable rate.

The promo is part of the collaboration between KCIC and Tiket.com in the BCA tiket.com Travel Fair which took place in early May 2026. The public can get discounted tickets through two purchase methods, namely offline and online.

For offline purchases, the public can visit Gandaria City (Main Atrium) on May 1 to 3, 2026. Meanwhile, online purchases are available on May 5 to 7, 2026 through digital platforms. Promo tickets are valid for Premium Economy class with a departure period of May 8 to June 14, 2026, with limited quotas.

KCIC Corporate Secretary General Eva Chairunisa said this program was presented to encourage the public to use the Whoosh service as the main choice for an efficient and modern Jakarta-Bandung trip.

"Through discounts of up to 50 percent and flexibility in purchasing tickets offline and online, we hope that people can plan their trips using Whoosh more practically and economically," Eva said in an official statement, Monday, April 27.

Eva added, since it started operating commercially on October 17, 2023, the volume of Whoosh passengers continues to show an increasing trend. To date, the high-speed train service has served more than 15 million passengers.

According to Eva, this promo is also part of KCIC's commitment to provide added value for customers while expanding public access to fast transportation.

"The public is expected to take advantage of this attractive promo because of the limited availability of tickets. KCIC will continue to present various other attractive promos and events in providing experience and added value for customers," he concluded.
