ASN Ministry of PU Has a House in Pondok Indah, Minister Dody: I Give It to APH

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo stated that he was ready to cooperate with the Law Enforcement Agency (APH) regarding the alleged State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the PU Ministry having a house asset in Pondok Indah.

Dody assessed that if there were convincing data findings regarding this matter, he was ready to hand it over to the APH. For information, Pondok Indah is an elite residential area located in South Jakarta.

"Later, if there is data, I will submit it to APH, let APH go, lah. Kan, more comfortable," said Dody in a media discussion at the PU Ministry's office, Jakarta, Thursday, April 2.

Dody reluctant to speculate on various issues related to the issue. He also reluctant to talk much and admitted he did not want to get into new trouble.

He emphasized that the issue of PU Ministry employees having a house in Pondok Indah has the potential to cause various claims, so it is better to hand it over to APH.

"If I say that later the story will be different, right. It can be 'that, right, the legacy of the father, it's the father's anu' fuss. So, yes, we don't have to say that, lah. This is a new problem for me later," he said.

However, Dody believes that there are still many good and honest PU Ministry employees in terms of work. This means that they have integrity to carry out their mandate as ASN in the ministry.

"But, I think one, there are still a lot of good people in PU, still a lot. If there are no good people in PU, it's impossible, right, there will be a report by Ms. Secretary General and Ms. Inspector General. It's impossible, right, these two mothers bring empty letters to the Attorney General's Office," he concluded.
