JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) said that the national one-way traffic engineering on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek) which was previously enforced from KM 70 Cikampek Toll Gate (GT) to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll GT Batang-Semarang on the official police discretion was stopped.
Currently, traffic conditions on the Trans Java Toll Road have returned to normal in both directions.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Ria Marlinda Paallo said that the national one-way traffic engineering was stopped after considering the traffic conditions which were monitored to be under control again.
"Currently, the flow of vehicles on the Trans Java Toll Road has returned to normal and can be passed by road users from both directions," said Ria in an official statement, Friday, March 20.
According to Ria, his party together with the police and all related stakeholders will continue to monitor the traffic conditions intensively even though traffic engineering has been stopped.
"This is to ensure the smooth and safe travel of road users during the 1447H/2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming period," he said.
Ria also appealed to all Trans Java toll road users to continue to prioritize safety during the journey, ensuring that the condition of the driver and vehicle is in good condition, the vehicle's fuel is sufficient and sufficient electronic money balance before entering the toll road.
"Road users are also expected to comply with signs and directions from officers in the field," he said.
Previously, the Japek Toll Road section towards Cikampek experienced severe congestion at the peak of the Lebaran 2026 homecoming flow, namely Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19.
This is due to the surge in vehicle volume on the Japek Toll Road, which resulted in a slowdown in traffic flow at several points.
A number of travelers also had to endure severe traffic jams that made their journey take a very long time.
