JAKARTA - The access and waiting room for the Whoosh Feeder train at Bandung Station will be moved to a new area starting Tuesday, March 10.

The new location is on the west side of the station, right in front of the Al Mu'min Mosque.

Passengers who will use the Feeder Train to Padalarang Station can access the location through the North Gate of Bandung Station from Jalan Kebon Kawung.

This access change will be implemented on the first feeder train from Bandung Station, which will continue to operate according to schedule, namely at 07.16 WIB.

The train is connected to the departure schedule of Whoosh from Padalarang at 07.53 WIB to Halim.

KCIC Corporate Secretary General Eva Chairunisa appealed to passengers to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the Feeder Train.

This is because the door to the platform will be closed 5 minutes before the departure schedule.

"So passengers have enough time to adjust to the new access and waiting room and ensure that the travel process remains safe and smooth," said Eva.

Along with the implementation of the new access, the waiting room for the Feeder train on the east and south sides of Bandung Station is no longer used.

However, during the socialization period until the end of March 2026, access through the south side of the station can still be used to help passengers adjust to the new area.

To facilitate passengers, KCIC together with KAI will install signs and directions at a number of strategic points at Bandung Station.

In addition, additional officers will also be alerted during the transition period, including in the old waiting area to direct passengers to the new location.

The new waiting room for the Feeder train on the west side of Bandung Station has a wider area and more modern facilities.

Its capacity reaches more than 300 seats, an increase compared to the previous waiting room on the east side which only accommodates around 200 seats.

With this arrangement, the waiting room activities and the boarding process of the Feeder train will be concentrated in the new area so that the flow of passenger movement will be more organized.

"The arrangement of access is carried out to create a more orderly, safe, and efficient passenger movement. With this centralized access, the passenger flow becomes more organized and can increase the comfort of integration of Feeder Trains with the Whoosh Fast Train," said Eva.
