JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Public Works (PU) provides a discount on toll rates during the 1447 H Eid al-Fitr or Lebaran 2026 homecoming and return period.
Director General of Road Construction of the Ministry of PU Roy Rizali Anwar revealed that the discount is aimed at anticipating traffic flow at the peak of the homecoming and return of vehicles.
The toll rate discount reaches 30 percent and applies to 29 toll road sections spread across the islands of Sumatra and Java.
"The discount on the toll road tariff is 30 percent as a result of a coordination meeting with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs," Roy said in a Media Gathering for the Preparation of the 2026 Eid Homecoming at the PU Ministry's office, Jakarta, Friday, March 6.
The toll rate reduction is given for four days, namely March 15-16, 2026 for the homecoming flow and March 26-27, 2026 during the return flow.
