Down, the Second Period February Reference Coal Price is 102.87 US Dollars per Ton

JAKARTA - The reference coal (HBA) price for the second period of February fell to 102.87 US dollars per ton from the previous 106.11 US dollars per ton in the first period of February 2026.

This figure is contained in the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 97.K/MB.01/MEM.B/2026 dated February 12, 2026 and sets the coal commodity price down from 106.11 US dollars per ton in the first period of February to 102.87 US dollars per ton in the second period of February.

In addition to HBA with a calorific value of 6,322 kcal per kg which has decreased, the reference coal (HBA) I, II, and III prices have also changed.

The data is contained in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree, which divides HBA into four categories based on the calorific value of coal.

The HBA, HBA I, HBA II and HBA III values for the Second Period February 2026 which is valid for February 15 - February 28 are as follows:

1. HBA (6.322 GAR): 102.87 dolar AS

2. HBA I (5.300 GAR): 71.74 dolar AS

3. HBA II (4.100 GAR): 47.34 dolar AS

4. HBA III (3.400 GAR): 33,85 dolar AS
