JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) will operate four toll sections along 120.89 kilometers (km) during the 2026 Lebaran holiday period. The functionalization of the four toll sections is expected to reduce congestion during the Lebaran holiday period.

"In this 2026 homecoming, we will prepare four (toll) functions that we have seen this path together with Pak Korlantas (National Police)," said Rivan.

Even though it is not 100 percent complete, Rivan ensures that the four toll roads can be functional during the upcoming Lebaran holiday.

"When this section is declared ready, even though it is not 100 percent operational, because to achieve operational many things must be prepared," he said.

For the regulation of the four functional toll roads, he continued, Jasa Marga handed it over to the police.

"And later in the functional arrangement, the traffic engineering will be regulated by the local Police, whether it is used as part of the homecoming flow or maybe the return flow. All of these policies we leave to the police, especially Korlantas (Polri/," said Rivan.

"However, Jasa Marga is ready with these four functional sections to be used and optimized by the community who will travel home in 2026," he explained.

Furthermore, Rivan targets, 3.6 million vehicles will pass through the Jasa Marga Group Toll Road during the 2026 Lebaran holiday.

"From the data we have, we estimate that according to the time of the holiday (the number of users passing through) will reach 3.6 million vehicles," he added.
