JAKARTA - The government has recorded investments worth Rp897 trillion to state-owned enterprises (SOEs), other legal entities, and Public Service Agencies (BLU) throughout the period from 2010 to 2024.

The funds were disbursed to support development in various strategic national sectors.

Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance, Rionald Silaban, said that the value is the accumulation of state investment over the past decade.

"If we recap, government investment in SOEs, other legal entities, and BLU from 2010 to 2024 has reached Rp. 897 trillion," said Rionald in a public hearing (RDP) with Commission XI of the DPR, Monday, February 9.

Based on the exposure of the Ministry of Finance, the infrastructure sector became the largest recipient of investment with a value of Rp372.57 trillion.

The next position is occupied by the education sector with Rp154.11 trillion, financing and MSMEs with Rp91.81 trillion, and the housing, tourism, and environmental sectors with Rp96.45 trillion.

The government also allocated investments to the transportation and logistics sector of Rp51.96 trillion, energy of Rp51.81 trillion, processing industry of Rp8.79 trillion, international cooperation of Rp8.04 trillion, investment of Rp31 trillion, health of Rp2 trillion, and other sectors worth Rp14.89 trillion.

Rionald said the direction of state investment was in line with President Prabowo Subianto's priority programs.

Four main sectors were designated as the focus of government investment, namely housing, transportation, education, and food.

Furthermore, he said, in 2025, the government will again allocate cash State Capital Participation (PMN) to a number of SOEs, especially in the transportation sector. Based on Government Regulation (PP) Number 51 of 2025, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) received PMN of IDR 1.8 trillion.

The funds were used to procure trainset facilities and retrofit the Jabodetabek KRL as a continuation of the PMN in the 2024 fiscal year.

In addition, through PP Number 53 of 2025, the government disbursed PMN of IDR 2.5 trillion to PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero).

This fund is allocated for the procurement of three passenger ships as a continuation of the previous year's PMN.

Not only that, the government also provided PMN to PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) of IDR 473 billion as stipulated in PP Number 52 of 2025.

The PMN aims to strengthen the capacity of the national railway industry, especially to maintain the availability of passenger transportation in the Jabodetabek area, as well as to continue the government's support in 2024.

In the housing financing sector, the government channeled PMN to PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) with a total of IDR 6.68 trillion based on PP Number 54 of 2025.

This fund is used to support the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) Program for low-income people (MBR).
