JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) admitted that it had deployed a Mine Inspector to investigate the accident incident that occurred in the Mining Business Permit area owned by PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA).
Director General of Minerals and Coal, Tri WInarno, said the investigation by the Mine Inspector was carried out to find out the cause and prevent similar incidents in the future.

Meanwhile, PTBA Corporate Secretary Division Head Eko Prayitno admitted that indeed there was a work accident in the PTBA operational area at the SJS PIT in Banko Tengah, Muara Enim, South Sumatra. The accident involved two dump trucks owned by PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) on Saturday, January 31.
