TANGERANG - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) recorded the distribution of new home ownership loans (KPR) throughout 2025 reaching IDR 40.3 trillion.

This achievement reflects the increasing interest of the younger generation in owning a house amid increasingly adaptive financing schemes.

BCA Director Haryanto T Budiman explained that the quality of BCA mortgage financing remained maintained with a healthy installment payment rate.

"Last year we recorded new bookings of Rp. 40.3 trillion. Run-off is also quite high, around Rp. 3 trillion, which shows that customers pay installments on time," said Haryanto at the opening of the BCA Expoversary 2026, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Thursday, February 5.

Haryanto explained that the Gen Z segment is now one of the drivers of mortgage growth, in line with the increasing use of the Fixed Tiered KPR scheme which offers low interest rates in the early days of credit.

This scheme is considered in line with the income characteristics of the younger generation which is still growing.

"The majority of our employees are Gen Z, our customers are the same. So we have to speak the same language, and property remains one of the best investments," he said.

Meanwhile, BCA President Director Hendra Lembong said the KPR Fix Berjenjang product was designed to ease the installment in the early years, so that it is more affordable for first-time home buyers.

"At the beginning of the year, the flowers were very low, then gradually increased. This KPR product is very popular with Gen Z," said Hendra.

In addition, Hendra said BCA also continues to support the government's Sejahtera Mortgage program with internal funding without utilizing the State Budget (APBN) subsidy.

"We help government programs, but we do not take state budget funds," he said.
