BEI Volume and Transaction Value Average Strengthened in the Middle of the JCI Correction

JAKARTA - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) reported stock trading data during the period from January 19 to January 23, 2026 closed varied.

The highest increase occurred in the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange this week, which was 9.32 percent to 65.73 billion shares, from 60.13 billion shares in the previous week.

Then, the average daily transaction value of the IDX also increased by 3.59 percent to Rp33.85 trillion, from Rp32.67 trillion in the previous week.

The average daily transaction frequency has changed by 2.66 percent to 3.75 million transactions, from 3.86 million transactions last week.

The movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) also changed this week, namely by 1.37 percent so that it closed at 8,951.010, from the position of 9,075.406 last week.

However, during this week, the JCI touched an all-time high, closing at 9,134.700 on Tuesday, January 20.

Then, the capital market capitalization of the IDX also experienced a change of 1.62 percent to Rp. 16,244 trillion from Rp. 16,512 trillion in the previous week.

Meanwhile, foreign investors today recorded a net buy value of Rp759 billion and throughout 2026 this year recorded a net buy value of Rp4.05 trillion.
