Diana explained that the majority of the travel disruption was directed to the east, reaching 46.28 percent and followed by the west at 29.9 percent.
"The distribution of travel directions to the western region is 29.9 percent, in the eastern region this is 46.28 percent, while in the southern region it is 23.82 percent," he said.
Meanwhile, continued Diana, there were 3.1 million vehicles entering the Jakarta area during that momentum.
"As for the perpetrators of the return and entry flow to Jakarta, we say there are 3,145,259 vehicles, this traffic increased by 2.31 percent (compared to) the 2024/2025 Christmas period or increased by 9.09 percent compared to the normal traffic flow," said Diana.
Diana added that the peak flow of homecoming during Nataru 2025/2026 occurred on Saturday, December 20, 2025. "The peak flow of return occurs on Sunday, December 28 (2025) and also Sunday, January 4, 2026," he added.
