BEKASI - Info Brand officially opened the Indonesia Business Opportunity Show (IBOS) EXPO 202 which was held at the Convention Hall Grand Galaxy Park Mall, Bekasi, Saturday, January 17.

The event, which was held for two days, is a national-scale exhibition event that brings together consumer-preferred brands with prospective business partners, investors, and business actors from various industrial sectors. This exhibition comes with a concept that is more focused, interactive, and result-driven, making it the most prospective business opportunity exhibition at the beginning of 2026.

CEO of Info Brand, Susilowati Ningsih, said that in the midst of strengthening the national economy, the business world faces increasingly complex challenges such as fierce competition, fast-changing markets and high efficiency demands. However, he said that business opportunities are also increasingly open from retail, agency distribution, resellers, partnerships, maklon to franchises.

"However, many strong business opportunities have not met potential partners and vice versa, many potential partners who are ready for capital and of course enthusiasm but have not found potential business opportunities. That is why we believe that strengthening the business ecosystem begins by bringing together business opportunity brands with potential partners in brand and business opportunity exhibition activities," said Susi in his remarks, Saturday, January 17.

He added, in the implementation of the iBoss Expo, his party presented more than 70 exhibitors consisting of brands with various business models ranging from business opportunities for distributors, agencies, resellers, makons, partnerships and franchises, as well as support businesses.

According to him, the presence of 70 exhibitors reflects the readiness of brands in Indonesia to be developed through a structured and sustainable partnership and distribution system.

"In addition, we also hope that thousands of visitors will attend this exhibition which consists of prospective partners who of course have an interest in the field of distribution, agency, reseller, partnership, franchise, collaboration, and business support," he continued.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Indonesian Brand Association, Tri Raharjo, said that IBOS Expo is not only an exhibition event but also a strategic activity designed to develop Indonesian brands so that they can develop nationally through a pattern of strategic cooperation.

"Through IBOS Expo, we present a meeting room between brand owners and prospective business partners in various development schemes. It is hoped that entrepreneurship does not always start from zero but through collaboration," he said.

He also emphasized that the Indonesian Brand Association exists as an organization that accommodates owners, managers, practitioners with the aim of building a strong and competitive Indonesian brand.

Moreover, he continued, the development of brands in Indonesia in the last few years has shown significant progress. Brands are no longer a visual identity, but as a value, a key differentiator and a determinant of consumer trust.

"From here we see that brands play a big role in strengthening business positions, expanding market access and also maintaining business sustainability," continued Tri.

Tri also quoted a Jackpot survey in 2025 which stated that local Indonesian brands are getting stronger in the domestic market. The data shows that 95 percent of consumers already use local products, especially in the food, fashion and beauty sectors which are very popular.

"Why are local products becoming more popular? Based on the survey, affordability is the main reason for 72 respondents, especially from Gen X," he explained.

However, Tri said that in the midst of strengthening local brands, the number of Indonesian entrepreneurs is still not ideal. For this reason, Tri emphasized that Indonesia not only creates more superior Indonesian brands, but also opens access to more people who can enter the world of entrepreneurship.
