Deputy Minister of Finance Thomas Djiwandono said that the total realization of budget financing until the end of 2025 was recorded at Rp. 744 trillion or reached 120.7 percent of the target set.
He added that the funding was used to cover the budget deficit, finance government investment, and maintain efficient management of state funds.
"The total budget financing until December 31, 2025 is IDR 744 trillion, divided into debt financing of IDR 736 trillion or equivalent to 94.9 percent of the state budget," said Thomas at the APBN Kita press conference, Thursday, January 8.
In addition to debt financing, the government has also realized non-debt financing worth Rp7.7 trillion until the end of December 2025. This value only represents 4.9 percent of the planned non-debt financing ceiling of Rp159.7 trillion.
Meanwhile, this non-debt financing does not increase the country's debt obligations, but is allocated for investment in certain sectors.
"Non-debt financing of Rp7.7 trillion, which has the impact of reducing 4.9 percent (of the state budget)," he said.
Overall, the realization of government budget financing until December 2025 reached Rp744 trillion or equivalent to 120.7 percent of the total financing ceiling which was pegged at Rp662 trillion.
