JAKARTA - The construction of the Jakarta-Tangerang KM 25 toll road access, which was carried out starting mid-July 2024, has reached the final stage and preparations to enter the implementation of the functional suitability test (ULF) and operational suitability test (ULO).
"This strategic project is on schedule according to the initial commitment to construction and has now reached the physical completion stage with operational trials at the end of the first quarter of 2026," said Paramount Land Director Norman Daulay as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 29.
He said that this toll access was designed to serve vehicle traffic from Jakarta to Paramount Petals and Pasir Randu Road, as well as from Paramount Petals to Jakarta.
In parallel, his party also completed the construction of a boulevard road that connects the toll gate with the entire area.
"So this toll access will expand connectivity and facilitate mobility to Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta Airport, and other important destinations," he said.
Norman added, based on research results, the presence of the Jakarta-Tangerang KM 25 toll road access is believed to have a significant positive impact ranging from encouraging local economic growth, opening new accessibility and the surrounding area.
"The presence of this toll access also serves to reduce congestion in the Bitung artery to 10-15 percent or around 19-20 thousand vehicles per day," he said.
Paramount Land Planning & Design Director Henry Napitupulu added that another positive impact was that the capital's supporting areas crossed by toll roads experienced a significant increase in property prices.
This trend reflects a shift in buyer preferences, especially the younger generation who increasingly prioritize ease of access, connectivity, and long-term development potential in choosing properties.
"Another factor is the reduction of the benchmark interest rate to 4.75 percent and the relatively stable economic conditions, the Indonesian property market shows strong optimism signals towards the end of the year," he said.
