JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) projects an increase in traffic volume (lalin) on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru 2025/2026) holidays.
Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono said that based on internal survey results, the increase was influenced by the work from anywhere (WFA) policy implemented in the government and other sectors.
"Based on traffic monitoring and analysis of vehicle mobility patterns, we project an increase in the volume of vehicle traffic out of Jabotabek which will occur on Wednesday, December 24, 2025," said Rivan in a written statement, Tuesday, December 23.
The change in travel patterns, said Rivan, is an important factor in operational planning. Jasa Marga has intensified cross-agency coordination and alerted resources to ensure that toll road services remain safe, reliable and responsive.
To anticipate the surge in volume, Jasa Marga implemented real-time monitoring, the addition of operational personnel at strategic points, traffic flow arrangements with the police, and the optimization of supporting facilities at rest areas.
As part of the safety and density risk mitigation strategy, Jasa Marga appeals to all toll road users to arrange rest time in the rest area according to their needs to support the comfort and safety of travel.
