Pertamina to Operate 1,866 24-Hour Service Stations During Christmas and New Year Holidays

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN) has alerted 1,866 SPBU that operate 24 hours during the Christmas and New Year 2025 Task Force period.

VP Retail Business Support PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Beny Harto Wijaya ensures that Pertamina is fully committed so that the public can go on vacation and celebrate the end of the year comfortably, calmly and without any constraints on the supply of energy, both fuel and LPG.

"Pertamina's energy services have alerted 1,866 SPBU 24-hour standby throughout Indonesia to meet the fuel needs of travelers," said Beny at the Press Conference for the 2026 Christmas and New Year Task Force, Monday, December 22.

On the other hand, he continued, Pertamina Patra Niaga also alerted 6,231 LPG agents who were prepared to ensure the availability of LPG for households and small businesses.

Similarly, for areas prone to density, Pertamina also placed 70 modular units and 48 packaged tents spread across 50 locations that do not have SPBU, dense lanes and popular tourist routes.

"This is to ensure that travelers do not have difficulty filling up on fuel on the way," he continued.

Pertamina also pays special attention to disaster-prone areas.

According to Beny, currently his party is focusing on dealing with the impact of flooding in Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra.

However, Pertamina still ensures that supplies are maintained even in emergency conditions so that people in the affected areas do not experience energy shortages.

"And recovery at disaster locations can run well and smoothly," he said.
