Stock Market Predicted to Be Attractive in 2026, Mansek Prepares 5 IPO Companies

JAKARTA - PT Mandiri Sekuritas revealed its plan to bring four to five companies to conduct initial public offerings (initial public offering/IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2026.

President Director of Mandiri Sekuritas Oki Ramadhana explained that the companies that will be listed come from various sectors and are selected based on liquidity potential and unique and interesting business stories.

"We have several, there are at least 4-5 (companies) in the pipeline, yes, for IPO next year and the sectors are also diverse and I believe that next year should be interesting for the equity market," he told the media, Wednesday, December 17.

He added that market conditions also support this optimism such as the expected decline in interest rates to encourage lower bond yields, so that the equity market has the potential to rise.

"So if the interest rate goes down, the bond yield will also go down, how much has it gone down now? 200 basis points if I'm not mistaken. The equity market should go up like that and the valuation is still cheap now, if the interest rate goes down, the valuation should be higher again," he explained.

Regarding the type of company that will be brought to the IPO, Oki emphasized that Mandiri Sekuritas focuses on big IPOs (big IPOs) and several including lighthouse companies, such as Superbank, with the goal of bringing high-liquidity stocks to the capital market.

"There are Lighthouse. We are indeed focusing on finding big IPOs. Like Superbank and others. Because we need big IPOs, we need liquid stocks in our capital market," he said.

"As long as you have a good story, you have good potential liquidity for the market. We basically look for a good story. A story that has never been on the market. There may be some sectors that are still the same. But it should be that if we want to bring IPOs, it must be a unique story, a good story," he added.
