Jasa Marga Boss Gives a Sneak Peek of South Japek II Toll to be Functionalized for Eid 2026

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II Toll Road is confirmed to be opened functionally in the 2026 Lebaran holiday period.

President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) Rivan Achmad Purwantono said that his party is currently rushing several works so that the toll road can be functional during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday.

"We estimate that in Lebaran (2026) later, the Japek Toll (South II) will be functional, but with the lights already installed," said Rivan when met by reporters after the Jasa Marga Integrated Apel for Operational Alert for Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 at TMII, Jakarta, Monday, December 15.

Rivan said, his party will prepare Tol Japek II Selatan much better, so that it can support the smooth homecoming of the community during the Eid holiday next year.

"Well, it's better that the preparation is much better and we have matured this with the National Police," he said.

He added that his party would not open the South Japek II Toll function during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru 2025/2026) period.

From the existing study, said Rivan, traffic during the Nataru homecoming is not too significant.

So there is no need for functional operations on the South Japek II section.

"So, (Toll) Japek is in finalization and based on traffic, the trend is still not necessary to open Japek II South," he said.

"The functional road that will be carried out (Jasa Marga) is the exit from Paiton only, the others are not yet," he added.

Meanwhile, in the 2025/2026 Nataru period, JSMR will only open the Probolinggo-Situbondo-Banyuwangi Toll Road (Probosiwangi) Gending-Paiton section.

"The functional road that was carried out (Jasa Marga) is the exit from Paiton only, the others have not yet," he added.

The construction of the Probosiwangi Toll Road from Gending to Besuki is divided into three work packages. Package 1 Gending-Kraksaan section, package 2 Kraksaan-Paiton and package 3 Paiton-Besuki.
