BOGOR - PT Trans Jabar Tol (PT TJT) as the operator ensures the readiness of the Bogor 'Ciawi' Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road in dealing with extreme weather such as high rainfall during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays.

This includes minimizing landslides.

The landslide incident itself had previously occurred during the Lebaran 2024 homecoming period, precisely on April 3.

At that time, landslides occurred on the Bocimi Toll Road in Cigombong Section, Cibadak KM 64+600 and 66+200.

PT TJT Technical & Operations Director Mokh Sadali said the handling of landslides at that point had been carried out by installing a steel sheet pile (soldier pile).

Now, this route is safe to pass even in the midst of extreme weather.

"The solder pile was installed with a very good foundation, very strong," said Sadali in a media briefing regarding the Preparation for Christmas Security in 2025 and New Year's 2026 Section Ciawi Toll Road Sukabumi at the Trans Jabar Tol office, Bogor, West Java, Thursday, December 11.

Sadali explained that one of the security indicators is by conducting routine monitoring of the flow of water below which is currently clear in color.

"The flow below is clear. So, if it is cloudy, it is a sign that there are grains of war, meaning that the condition should be in theory safe," he said.

In addition, his party has also conducted sweeps along Section 1 Ciawi 'Cigombong and Section 2 Cigombong' Cibadak/Parungkuda in order to check and map vulnerable points.

According to him, his party has carried out a process of strengthening the route at vulnerable points to prevent landslides in the midst of high rainfall.

One of the strengthening was carried out by installing a solder pile.

"So, we have repaired other places. There are two places, one is solder pile, the other is with other constructions. This means, at points prone to landslides, hopefully, we will not add more as long as we can see. This means that we (can) anticipate and fix it," he added.
