PTPP Completes BTN Ecopark Gandul Phase 1: The First Platinum Standard Human Development Area In Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a national construction and investment company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia, again shows its superior track record by completing the construction of BTN Ecopark Gandul Phase 1, a modern Human Development area owned by PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) designed with the standard Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) Platinum, the highest ranking for environmentally friendly buildings in Indonesia.

This project was built on an area of 5 hectares with a contract value of IDR 322.9 billion. The inauguration of the area was carried out on Friday, December 5, 2025, which marked the presence of banking human resources development facilities with modern, green, and sustainable concepts.

BTN Ecopark Gandul Phase 1 is designed as an integrated area to support the development of human resources as a whole. The facilities available include educational buildings, training participant dormitories, archive centers, branch offices, auditoriums, foodcourts, mosques, sports facilities, soccer fields, jogging tracks, and artificial lakes that strengthen the concept of Green Neighborhood and environmental comfort.

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, explained that in the construction process PTPP presented a number of innovations that helped improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability of work. One of these innovations is the use of manlift movable, which allows jobs at high altitude to be carried out more safely without damaging the surface of the floor, thereby accelerating the cycle of interior work without adding to the risk.

In addition, PTPP applies a method of stealing concrete using an antisol, which is environmentally friendly and is able to reduce plastic use substantially, in line with the environmental efficiency principle in the practice of green construction.

Joko added that the success of project completion faster than the schedule cannot be separated from the discipline of implementation in the field, integration of digital project management, and the application of strict safety standards.

"This achievement is a concrete proof of PTPP's commitment to presenting delivery excellence, by maintaining quality, safety, and sustainability as the main pillar," said Joko, in his statement, Tuesday, December 9.

At the inauguration ceremony, BTN management gave appreciation for the quality of work and professionalism of the PTPP Project Team, which was considered capable of presenting high standard construction results and maintaining quality consistency from early to late stages. BTN Ecopark Gandul Phase 1 is referred to as a symbol of BTN's transformation towards the management of future-oriented human resources, as well as a form of implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects in the national banking sector.

The development of this area also supports Asta Cita Pemerintah, especially in strengthening Indonesia's superior, modern, and global competitive human resources, as well as encouraging the presence of effective and environmentally friendly green infrastructure. The presence of this facility is expected to be an encouragement for improving the competence of national banking talent and supporting a more adaptive HR development ecosystem for change.
