Sido Muncul Provides IDR 900 Million Assistance For Natural Disaster Victims In Sumatra

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam menjalankan misi kemanusiaan melalui penyaluran bantuan untuk korban bencana alam di Sumatra Barat, Sumatera Utara, dan Aceh.

The aid with a total value of Rp900 million was symbolically handed over by the Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat, last Tuesday, December 3 at the Sido Muncul office in Jakarta.

"This is a form of the company's concern for people affected by flash floods, landslides, and other hydrometeorological disasters in the Sumatra region," said Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat.

Through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Sido Muncul distributed aid to disaster victims, through institutions, foundations to local organizations, such as the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), Kodam, Polda, to PMI.

This distribution is expected to help accelerate the recovery of residents affected by the disaster, as well as provide health support for volunteers, medical personnel, and officers working in the field.

Of the total Rp900 million, assistance consists of financial support for the operation of disaster management and assistance for victims, as well as health products such as Tolak Angin, Ginger Milk, and Ginger Coffee which are intended for affected residents, volunteers, medical personnel, and field personnel.

This assistance was allocated to a number of points in three provinces affected by the disaster, including areas requiring additional health supplies, with details of the distribution of aid handed over:

1. BPOM - IDR 100 million in cash.

2. Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) in the West Sumatra region, a total of IDR 50 million in assistance, consisting of IDR 30 million in cash, IDR 10 million in Tolak Angin, and IDR 10 million in Ginger and Ginger Milk assistance worth IDR 10 million.

3. Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) in the Medan area, total assistance of Rp. 50 million, consisting of Rp. 30 million in cash, Tolak Angin worth Rp. 10 million, and assistance for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee worth Rp. 10 million.

4. Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Aceh region, total assistance of Rp. 50 million, consisting of Rp. 30 million in cash, Tolak Angin worth Rp. 10 million, and assistance for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee worth Rp. 10 million.

5. Jakarta Archdiocese, with a total assistance of IDR 50 million, consisting of IDR 30 million in cash, IDR 10 million in Tolak Angin, and IDR 10 million in Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee assistance.

6. Indonesian Red Cross, total assistance of IDR 100 million consisting of IDR 70 million in cash, Tolak Angin worth IDR 20 million, and IDR 10 million in Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee

7. Iskandar Muda (Aceh) Regional Military Command (KODAM), total assistance worth IDR 75 million, with details of IDR 50 million in cash, IDR 15 million in Tolak Angin, and IDR 10 million for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee.

8. Bukit Barisan Regional Military Command (I), total assistance of Rp. 75 million, with details of Rp. 50 million in cash, Tolak Angin worth Rp. 15 million, and Rp. 10 million for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee.

9. Military Regional Command (KODAM) XX Calls Imam Bonjol (West Sumatra), with details of total assistance worth IDR 75 million, with details of IDR 50 million in cash, IDR 15 million in Tolak Angin, and IDR 10 million for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee.

10. Yayasan Orthopaedi Indonesia, yang mendapatkan saluran bantuan Rp50 juts, terdiri dari Rp30 juta kaca, Tolak Angin senilai Rp10 juta, dan bantuan Susu Jahe dan Kopi Ginger senilai Rp10 Juta.

11. SDM PolOLDA NORTH SUMATRA, received an aid channel worth IDR 75 million, with details of IDR 50 million in cash, Tolak Angin worth IDR 15 million, and IDR 10 million for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee.

12. HR of the WEST SUMATRA POLICE, received a total assistance channel of IDR 75 million, with details of IDR 50 million in cash, Tolak Angin worth IDR 15 million, and IDR 10 million for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee.

13. HR POLDA ACEH, received assistance channels worth n total assistance worth IDR 75 million, with details of IDR 50 million in cash, Tolak Angin worth IDR 15 million, and IDR 10 million for Ginger Milk and Ginger Coffee.

Through this assistance, Sido Muncul reaffirmed his commitment to be present in the community, especially during a disaster.

This humanitarian program is also part of the company's efforts to encourage the recovery of health conditions and basic needs for affected residents.

With the support of various institutions and agencies that receive assistance, Sido Muncul hopes that the evacuation process, health care, and logistics distribution in the field can run faster and more effectively.
