Ministry Of Transportation Disburses Budget Of Up To IDR 4.1 Billion For Free Motorcycle Homecoming Transportation By Train

The Directorate General of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation has again held a Free Motorcycle Transportation (Motis) program for the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) transportation periods.

The budget provided reached IDR 4.1 billion.

Director of Traffic and Rail Transportation, Arif Anwar said this program is a form of state presence in improving travel safety during the Nataru holiday. Also, optimizing the use of rail transportation during that period.

"In 2025, we have prepared IDR 4.1 billion to support the implementation of Motis during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 periods," he said in an official statement, Thursday, December 4.

Arif said the registration for the Motis Nataru 2025/2026 program was opened from December 1 to December 29, 2025.

Motorcycle transportation is scheduled to take place from December 23 to 30, 2025. People can register online through the archipelago.kemenhub.go.id, or offline at registration posts at a number of stations," he said.

The registration post can be found at the Jakarta Gudang Station, Tangerang Station, Bekasi Station, Depok Baru Station, Cirebon Prujakan Station, Tegal Station, Pekalongan Station, Semarang Tawang Station; Purwokerto Station, Kebumen Station, Kutoarjo Station, Lempuyangan Station, and Purwosari Station.

Furthermore, Arif said that Motis Nataru 2025/2026 will serve two main routes, namely the North Cross and Central Cross.

"At the North Cross Motis service, the train will stop serving the community at the Jakarta Gudang Station, Pasar Senen Station (specifically passengers), Bekasi Station (specifically passengers), Cirebon Prujakan Station, Tegal Station, Pekalongan Station and Semarang Tawang Station," he said.

Meanwhile, continued Arif, for the Middle Cross will serve several stations, namely Jakarta Gudang Station, Pasar Senen Station (specifically passengers), Bekasi Station (specifically passengers), Cirebon Prujakan Station, Purwokerto Station, Kebumen Station, Kutoarjo Station, Lempuyangan Station and Purwosari Station.

"In order to participate in the Motis Nataru 2025/2026 program, the community is expected to be able to follow the applicable terms and conditions," he said.

The following terms and conditions:

1. Participants are not registered or participating in other free homecoming programs organized by any party;

2. Registration through nusantara.kemenhub.go.id which is followed by direct verification at the designated registration post location;

3. Register by submitting an active email;

4. The size of the motorcycle is less than 200cc;

5. Attaching valid Family Cards, ID cards, SIMs and STNKs; and

6. Participants who have successfully registered in the Motis program, are required to take part in this program.

Another reason is that it is mandatory to confirm with the registration post a maximum of D-7 before the scheduled departure. Participants who cancel without confirmation cannot take part in the motis program in the next period," he said.

Selain layanan pengangkutan motor, sambung Arif, peserta Motis juga akan difasilitasi tiket kereta api gratis bagi dua penumpang dan satu tiket untuk anak berusia di bawah tiga tahun selama kuota tiket tersedia.

In addition to motor transportation services, continued Arif, Motis participants will also be facilitated with free train tickets for two passengers and one ticket for children under three years of age as long as the ticket quota is available.
